December, 2008: Jim Draggoo completes Solar System Ambassador affiliation

For the last five years Jim Draggoo has been involved as a Solar System Ambassador for NASA's and Jet Propulsion Laboratories. He has made classroom presentations with hands-in activities in elementary, middle and high schools as well as public lectures at various events. He has shown ecstatic children and adults views of the night sky though his telescope at star parties and briefed local tv and radio outlets on NASA's numerous missions during his time with the program.

January, 2007: Jim Draggoo, Solar System Ambassador

Jim Draggoo has been renewed as a Solar System Ambassador for NASA's and Jet Propulsion Laboratories. He has been involved with the program since 2003.

October, 2005: Jim Draggoo Launches Web Site

Author, educator and inspirational speaker Jim Draggoo launched his web site, www.jimdraggoo.com, in October, 2005. The talented musical artist and astronomer has created the website to provide contact information and background material for the media, publishers, business people, educational institutions and others.

His goal is to provide "Creative Ideas from the Cosmos" for those seeking inspirational, entertaining and educational presentations for their organizations. Mr. Draggoo is working on a number projects including fiction, non-fiction and technical writing.
